Stopped on way back from Nashville.
There seems to be an accident, but people also are failing to merge down to one lane efficiently.

Somehow Cincinnati manages to always have wrecks on the only main highway coming into the south side on clear sunny sundays (71/75 conjoin for a few miles which causes this). Today it forced us to take the ring highway all the way around the city to home. Gotta love it.

I checked the GPS while I was stopped to get gas and saw there was a 30-40 minute delay because of construction on I-40, so I called an audible and took a little detour down to the dragon.

Is that guy in the utility truck opening his door? Also, I don’t know if you caught him in-between signal flashes, but that Ford looks like he’s veering out of his lane while there’s still tons of space yet to go in front of him... How much further until that lane is ACTUALLY closed?

It wasn’t too bad going, mainly cause I was flying. Yeah your f150 can go as fast as you want in a straight line, now step aside and let me take the curves at the speeds you were doing 10 miles ago.

I am surprised that I have actually had smooth sailing. I made a couple stops along the way or else I would have already been home. Only about 30 minutes away though.

At least there was another option aside from being stuck. Can’t believe the only wreck I came across for the entire trip was in the way back to the hotel from the bar last night.

It was still faster for me than going back through the dragon. Much respect to the guy in the new Camry who was probably going 90 through the curves. I was having fun chasing him until I got trapped by left lane sitters.

We were fully stopped, so yes, the door was open. The red truck driver straddled the lanes for a mile trying to get people to merge correctly, but people just drive around him.

I had clear sailing... clear enough that I was having to draft semis to keep up with the speed of traffic and not get hot.
